CO-CREATE GUIDE
Before you begin, learn how storage, roasting, publishing, exchange and privacy work.
Submit a storage request first, whether the seller is shipping directly or you are sending your own green coffee. Do not buy, pay or ship before approval. Shipping details are shown only to the approved applicant. Use sender details that match the parcel label.
For personal storage, upload 2–3 real photos of the green coffee. When it arrives, ROASTiME records 2–3 photos of the outer carton, inner bag and label, available in your request record.
Storage, roasting and exchanges are managed in 500g increments. Individual grams below this unit are not available for customer actions.
The standard storage period is six months from confirmed intake, with a reminder 30 days before expiry. Remaining beans are not deleted automatically and stay in current storage until resolved.
Lots with remaining stock or open tasks stay in Current Storage. Depleted or officially closed lots move to Storage History, where intake, roast, exchange and inventory activity is retained.
Each roast request is linked to a specific lot and uses a green coffee input weight in 500g increments. Available balance, reserved amounts and status follow the server's inventory records. Each batch is limited to 1kg.
A roast profile becomes public only when you choose to publish it. Publishing a profile does not make the related green coffee available for exchange.
Only verified green coffee stored at ROASTiME may be exchanged, at equal weights. No cash top-ups are supported. Listings use verified names, origins, processing, harvest seasons, grades, flavor descriptions and receiving photos where available. Unknown information may be left blank.
Either participant can cancel the entire exchange request before completion. Pending offers are closed and the applicable reserved quantity is released.
Verified Roast.World records can be linked to your Roast Archive. Public display of nicknames, photos, profiles and exchange quantities follows your sharing permissions. Contact details and total private stock are never published.
